Joson Numismatic Collections
Quaint Collectables Store in Malacca

Joson Numismatic Collections on Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Melaka is my kind of shop with old banknotes, coins, stamps, vintage advertising and other collectables for sale.

When I first visited Malacca back in 1981 there used to quite a few antique, bric-a-brac and collectable shops along Jonker Street as well as traditional craftsmen like sign painters, chop makers, and shoe makers. Over the years most of these have either gone out of business or been pushed out of their prime location by higher rents.

Luckily some, like this collectable shop and Wah Aik, the bound foot shoe shop, have survived and relocated to nearby Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock (Heeren Street).

Joson Numismatic sells (and buys) a range of collectable banknotes, coins and stamps from Malaysia (including Malaya, Straits Settlements, British North Borneo) Asia and beyond.

Other collectables and memorabilia on display include porcelain, old photos, toys, advertising material, posters and more.

Opening Hours

Open daily from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm.
