Putrajaya Floria 2012

The dates for Floria 2013 are expected to be from 22nd - 30th June 2013. This page will be updated when plans for the 2013 event have been finalised. In the meantime please see details of last year's event below.
Floria 2012, the Putrajaya Flower & Garden Festival 2012 is taking place over 9 days from 30th June - 8th July 2012.
This annual flower show is the biggest event in Putrajaya's calendar and over 1,000,000 people attended last year's Floria 2011 which featured 61 showcase garden lots with participants from 15 countries.
The theme of this year's event is Bougainvillea - Enduring Beauty.
What to Expect
Flower Galore. As usual there will be a Grand Flower Bed as the centrepiece to the event, a spectacular display of colourful flowers in full bloom. In addition to exceptional displays of bougainvillea, expect to see plenty of orchids, heliconia, hibiscus, roses, bonsai, herbs and much more.
Showcase Gardens by various associations, organizations, schools, and commercial gardeners will show off their green fingers and garden design talents.
Floral Pavilion is an air-conditioned indoor space for floral displays by international and local exhibitors.
Garden Bazaar is a horticultural market where visitors can buy plants, garden products, outdoor furniture, play equipment, biotech products, landscaping services and more.
Laman Seni or 'Art Square' is exhibition and retail space for arts and crafts inspired by nature.
Therapy Garden. Reflexology, fish spa, foot and shoulder massage.
Activities. These include flower arranging contests, gardening demonstrations, cooking workshops, nature photography and watercolour competitions.
Entertainment. Street entertainers, kiddyland, brass band, cheer leading, fireworks displays.
Food. There will be plenty of food retailers, fruit sellers and souvenir shops.
Night Floral Parade. The 1 Malaysia International Tourism Night Floral Parade 2012 will feature brightly illuminated floats cruising up and down Putrajaya Lake.

How Much?
Admission is FREE!
When?
From Saturday 30th June until Sunday 8th July 2012.
From 9 am until 10 pm (Mon-Thu).
From 9 am until 12 midnight (Fri-Sun).
Where?
Putrajaya Precinct 2 near to the Millennium Monument (Monumen Alaf Baru).
Plenty of free parking is available but expect heavy traffic and big crowds in this area.
